We were very happy with the work of The Drying Co. Mr. Killam provided an estimate and explained the details of the various options. The job began and was completed as planned, and the quality of work was excellent. What we had done was the installation of one of their vapor barriers in our crawl space. When the house was built, the crawl space was unfortunately built very low so getting around in it is quite difficult; the height varies from a few feet to maybe as much as 4 feet in a few locations, but it is littered with obstructions. One literally has to crawl and slither in some areas to move past the obstructions from sewer and water and natural gas plumbing and the HVAC system. Despite this, the vapor barrier was neatly and cleanly installed everywhere (I went under and examined the job with care) and properly sealed to the wall. The bottom line is simple - I recommend them without reservation.

Hope all is going well! I wanted to touch base and let you know how pleased my husband and I are with our newly conditioned crawlspace. My husband went into the crawlspace this past weekend to do something with the HVAC unit and was blown away by how well the work was done and his friend (who goes under quite a bit of houses) said it was one of the nicest crawlspaces he had ever seen. My husband also commented on how it was 90 degrees outside, but felt like he was inside our house while being in the crawlspace. Another thing that he commented on was that the crawlspace door was even insulated. It was pretty painful finding out we had mold under the house. The first two estimates we got were pretty high (in our minds) and I am so happy that I spoke to Melonie about getting a quote from The Drying Company for the insulation portion. Not only did The Drying Company beat the quotes, but because the quote for the insulation work was so competitive, we were able to afford the conditioned crawlspace, as opposed to the traditional. I never like writing checks for unexpected expenses, but am very happy that my money went to a reputable company that did quality work for a competitive price. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I like the agency you are insured with as well. Thank you for all that your company has done.

Our yearly service check was performed by Alex Beacham. Alex could not have been more professional throughout his visit.
